Another day with some back-to-back sets, but only two of them are on the back end with the Pistons sitting out Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin on Monday. We’ll have to see what OKC does, but you’d think there’s a very good chance George Hill sits and maybe even Al Horford.
Top Injuries to Watch
Jimmy Butler is doubtful for today, so it should be a team effort to replace him. Coach Erik Spoelstra hinted that Kendrick Nunn was going to get minutes. It sounds like he wants to keep Goran Dragic in the second unit to run PNR with Precious Achiuwa. Andre Iguodala started the second half on Christmas, but that was likely Spo thinking on his toes. If it’s not Nunn in a small-ball lineup, it could be Avery Bradley. Moe Harkless could also be bumped from the first unit. I wouldn’t be totally shocked if both Dragic or Precious move into the first unit either.
