McMillan quotes: Said they established their defense in the third quarter while they were rebounding well, said De’Andre Hunter found his rhythm and was able to get easy baskets, said Hunter was great at guarding Miles Bridges, said some of the coaches were yelling at him to pull guys late in the game.

Bickerstaff quotes: Said they really were not ready in the first quarter against the Nets, said they just have to be ready for Friday’s game and the game plan may not be as important.

Stats and Notes:

*The Hawks have been clicking with their current starting lineup at a 119.4 O rating while we’re a bit in the dark on the Cavs side waiting for the Jarrett Allen news. It sounds like Allen will go, but he will likely have a cap.

*The Cavs were a fantastic defense when they had Jarrett Allen, but will he be 100%? Probably not, so it’s a tough one to read. The Hawks have been playing better defense, but they’re a little vulnerable in transition. That’s not exactly a strong area for the Cavs, so this isn’t a terrible spot for the Hawks. Plus, the Cavs have given up pretty big volume at the rim while the Hawks are basically average as far as shot location goes.
