Easton Stick, Atlanta – Michael Penix Jr. is out, and Kirk Cousins isn’t currently expected to play either. That leaves Stick as the Falcons’ QB1 on Friday night; he played 26 of 36 snaps in Atlanta’s shortened first preseason game and looked shockingly competent, completing 15 of 18 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. Stick didn’t show it last week, but he is mobile and can add points with his legs.
