Aaron Rodgers enters Sunday night having finished below 300 passing yards in 16 straight games while nursing a broken thumb and surrounded by what continues to be one of the NFL’s weakest supporting casts. Only the Broncos have given up fewer fantasy points to quarterbacks than the Eagles. Rodgers is just a QB2 option here. … Aaron Jones’ weekly workloads have settled into some level of consistency with 17-plus touches in four of Green Bay’s last five games, although A.J. Dillon remains a nuisance, and the Eagles’ run defense got an immediate shot in the arm from savvy GM Howie Roseman’s street free-agent signings of DTs Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh in Week 11’s win over Indianapolis. After the Colts’ first drive, Philly held Jonathan Taylor to 35 yards on 15 carries (2.3 YPC). The Eagles have also yielded the NFL’s second-fewest receiving yards to backs (253). I’m treating Jones as a questionable-ceiling RB2 play on SNF. Scoreless since Week 1, Dillon is a poor bet even on one-game DFS-tournament slates.
