Team Totals: Cowboys 26, Titans 16
Fantasy’s overall QB4 over the past two weeks, Dak Prescott now faces a Titans defense yielding the NFL’s seventh-most yards per pass attempt (7.0), second-most passing TDs (26), and third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. On a short week, Tennessee is dealing with injuries to key defenders DL Jeffery Simmons (ankle), DL Denico Autry (biceps), LB Zach Cunningham (elbow), EDGE Bud Dupree (pectoral), CB Kristian Fulton (groin), and SS Amani Hooker (knee). This is an obvious green-light spot for Prescott. … Due to a nagging thigh injury that kept Tony Pollard out of early-week practices, I’m leaning toward Ezekiel Elliott as the superior Week 17 Cowboys running back play. Although his workload upside has been capped during Pollard’s scorching-hot run, Elliott is averaging a robust 17.7 touches over his last six games and has hit paydirt 10 times in his last eight. On the season, Elliott ranks fourth in the NFL in red-zone carries (23). … Pollard remains playable as an RB2/flex, albeit with less usage security than usual.
