Chris Brazzell II is our WR8 for rookie drafts and checks in as the WR48 in our overall dynasty ranks. He is a speedy vertical threat who didn’t break out until his fourth year in school. Brazzell follows a line of Tennessee WRs who have had difficulties transitioning from a unique college offense to the NFL. The scouts acknowledge his vertical-play ability, but it is worth acknowledging that this has been the case for past Tennessee WRs as well. Brazzell is going to need to prove he can beat press and run a real route tree. As a Day 2 pick, Brazzell isn’t going to get as many chances to prove himself as a first-round pick would, so he is going to have to maximize his opportunities. The analytical comps do paint a picture of upside.
