The Browns did well to hold off listless Pittsburgh in Week 11 with a rudimentary passing game in which still-overmatched rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson averaged an anemic 3.8 yards per pass attempt. I think it’s only a matter of time before current practice squadder Joe Flacco gets an audition. Through two starts, “DTR” is 43-of-79 passing (55%) for 286 yards (3.6 YPA), a 0:4 TD-to-INT ratio, and five sacks taken. He’s rushed for 44 yards. The Broncos’ red-hot D/ST is a strong streamer play here. … The Browns went back to a near-even two-man backfield in Week 11’s victory, as Kareem Hunt handled 15 touches to Jerome Ford’s 14 while Ford out-snapped Hunt 37 to 33. No team in the NFL has yielded more fantasy running back points than the Broncos, giving both Ford and Hunt RB2/flex-play viability in Week 12.
DTR’s 2023 target distribution: David Njoku 23; Amari Cooper 14; Ford and Elijah Moore 11; Cedric Tillman 5; Hunt 3. … Njoku let Thompson-Robinson down with three dropped passes in Week 11’s win but remains the rookie quarterback’s obvious go-to guy.
