Cleveland @ Denver
Team Totals: Browns 18, Broncos 23.5
The QB7, QB21, QB9, and QB18 in four starts for Deshaun Watson (torn Achilles), Jameis Winston’s outlook for 2-QB and Superflex leagues is not as dire as it seems: Denver has blitzed at the league’s fourth-highest rate and Winston has surgically diced extra pass rushers for 8.7 yards per attempt (seventh) and a 3:0 TD-to-INT ratio to date. … Fantasy’s most obvious sell-high player wherever trades are still allowed, Nick Chubb’s two touchdowns against the Steelers masked his horrific 2.9 yards per carry with zero broken tackles; he’s totaled seven yards after contact through five games since returning from 2023’s gruesome knee injury. Similar to Gus Edwards’ outlook, Chubb has to fall into the end zone to be viable and can be game-scripted off the field when trailing given Jerome Ford’s superior 51% route rate (to Chubb’s 16%) in the three games the duo have been active together. Therefore, any negative game script boosts Ford’s floor on one-game slates.
