Cleveland @ Baltimore
Team Totals: Ravens 28.25, Browns 20.25
The Browns’ revised front office has built a physical football team, hiring ex-Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski as head coach for his play-action emphasis and wide-zone rushing attack, making road-grading tackles Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin their biggest draft and free agency investments, trading for lead-blocking FB Andy Janovich, loading up on tight ends for increased 12 personnel, and retaining No. 2 running back Kareem Hunt on a second-round tender. Even after Nick Chubb ranked second in the league in 2019 rushing yards (1,494), the environment around him has improved. His targets per game were nearly halved from 4.0 to 2.1 following Hunt’s 2019 return from suspension, however, and Chubb’s Week 1 floor is worrisome with Cleveland installed as eight-point road dogs.
