In last week’s one-score win over Carolina, James Conner played only five more snaps than Trey Benson, who operated as the Cardinals’ full-time passing-down back. San Francisco’s remade defense has held opposing RBs to 48/174/1 (3.6 YPC) rushing. Conner profiles as a touchdown-dependent RB2/flex play. Benson has become one of fantasy’s most valued “backup” running backs.
