Arizona @ San Francisco

Team Totals: 49ers 24.5, Cardinals 21.5

Even with his rushing numbers up — Kyler Murray enters Week 3 ranked No. 6 among QBs in carries (14) and ninth in rushing yards (70) — Murray has remained the mediocre fantasy producer he’s been for five years. Murray plateaued as a second-year pro in 2020, never sizably improving his game. The 49ers have allowed the NFL’s fourth-fewest fantasy QB points. … Arizona’s backfield is trending in a 50/50 direction. In last week’s one-score win over Carolina, James Conner played only five more snaps than Trey Benson, who operated as the Cardinals’ full-time passing-down back. San Francisco’s remade defense has held opposing RBs to 48/174/1 (3.6 YPC) rushing. Conner profiles as a touchdown-dependent RB2/flex play. Benson has become one of fantasy’s most valued “backup” running backs.
