In a rematch of last January’s Wild Card game at Buffalo — the Bills beat the brakes off the Broncos, 31-7 — Sean McDermott’s team travels to Denver for Saturday’s Divisional Round opener. Especially after the Bills lost WRs Tyrell Shavers and Gabe Davis to ACL tears in last week’s win at Jacksonville, this profiles as yet another Josh Allen “Superman game” wherein the Bills pin virtually all of their offensive hopes on Allen. For Buffalo, the good news is that Denver yielded late-season point totals of 34 (Jags), 26 (Packers), and 26 (Commanders) with diminished pass rush, while the Broncos’ shutdown perimeter pass coverage is offset somewhat by the Bills’ lack of a perimeter passing game.
