Thursday Night Football

Miami @ Buffalo

Team Totals: Bills 31, Dolphins 18.5

This is a beatdown spot for Buffalo’s D/ST with the Bills favored by nearly two touchdowns at home. Over his last 15 games, Tua Tagovailoa has thrown 14 interceptions and fumbled eight times. Miami is missing starting RT Austin Jackson (toe) and RG James Daniels (pec strain), while rookie LG Jonah Savaiinaea is PFF’s lowest-graded offensive lineman two weeks in. … Miami’s lone to-date bright spot, De’Von Achane is playing 84% of the Fins’ offensive snaps and handled 29 of the team’s 34 running back touches (85%). This game’s projected negative script theoretically suits Achane’s receiving-oriented skill set, while the expected absences of Bills difference-making defenders DT Ed Oliver (ankle) and WLB Matt Milano (pec strain) improve Achane’s draw. Achane’s receiving lines in last season’s dates with Sean McDermott’s Bills defense were 8/58/1 (eight targets) and 7/69/1 (seven targets).
