Philadelphia @ Pittsburgh
Team Totals: Steelers 25.75, Eagles 18.25
Coming off the Eagles’ first 2020 win, Carson Wentz looks to be in deep trouble visiting Heinz Field to face a Steelers defense blitzing at a league-high 49% clip and generating a league-high 50% pressure rate. Behind Philly’s injury-ruined offensive line, Wentz has faced pressure on 54 dropbacks. On them, he is averaging a miniscule 2.4 yards per pass attempt with a 0:2 TD-to-INT ratio and NFL-most 14 sacks. Coach Doug Pederson admitted Monday that difference-making RT Lane Johnson’s recurring ankle injury “is gonna linger” for the rest of the year, while Wentz’s weaponry remains troublingly banged up with Dallas Goedert (ankle) and Jalen Reagor (thumb) still on I.R. and DeSean Jackson (hamstring) and Alshon Jeffery (foot) trying to force their way back.
