I delayed writing up Falcons-Packers due to so many critical skill-player injuries on both sides. We got some late-week answers, and this game has maintained the highest total on Week 4’s slate. Sidelined by a hamstring injury in Week 3, Julio Jones has reportedly looked like his old self on the practice field and should be near all systems go. Also back is RT Kaleb McGary (knee); with Jones and McGary in Atlanta’s Weeks 1-2 lineup, Matt Ryan dropped consecutive top-seven QB1 results on Seattle and Dallas, while Week 4 opponent Green Bay yielded top-12 weeks to otherwise struggling Kirk Cousins and Drew Brees in two of its initial three games. Ryan is a high-floor, high-ceiling play in Monday night’s projected track meet. … Especially if Todd Gurley plays well in front of a national audience, he will be a recommended sell high in season-long leagues after this game. Gurley is increasingly losing passing-down and early-down work to Brian Hill – who ripped a 35-yard second-quarter touchdown run in last week’s loss to Chicago that I do not believe Gurley could any longer make – and draws a perfect Week 4 matchup to impress onlookers.
