On pace to score the second-most points in NFL history, the Lions and Jared Goff have racked up 11 passing TDs with a 74% completion rate and 9.2 yards per attempt in their four-game winning streak. Even so, Goff’s only two QB1 finishes so far came in games he threw five (Week 2) and three (Week 5) touchdowns — within his range of outcomes here if the Lions fall behind early. LT Taylor Decker’s presence would help after he missed Week 5 with a shoulder injury. … Last week’s RB10 performance in his hometown of Cincinnati was the first time David Montgomery out-touched Jahmyr Gibbs this season. Kansas City has suffocated elite athletes like Omarion Hampton (15/48/0), Saquon Barkley (22/88/1), Derrick Henry (8/42/0), and Travis Etienne (12/49/0) between the tackles but have been beaten for 4.8 weekly catches (10th) by RBs — the exact strength Gibbs offers with his position’s fourth-highest target share (15.8%). It’s a horrific spot for Montgomery’s skill set, but he can always fall forward for multiple TDs.
