The Panthers will trot out 5-foot-10, 204-pound Bryce Young at Lambeau Field two weeks removed from an alleged high ankle sprain. I suspect Carolina might have sat Young for another week had Andy Dalton performed better in Week 8’s blowout loss to Buffalo and not emerged with a right (throwing) thumb injury. Either way, Young looks set up for failure against Green Bay’s DPOY favorite Micah Parsons-led defense, which has surrendered an NFL-low 5.8 yards per pass attempt. … After watching Chuba Hubbard run in place for two games, HC Dave Canales strongly indicated this week that Rico Dowdle will reassume lead-back duties. Hubbard will presumably enter only when Dowdle needs a breather. While the news is excellent for fantasy owners of Dowdle, this feels like an impossible spot on the nearly two-touchdown road-dog Panthers. I wouldn’t be surprised if passing-down specialist rookie Trevor Etienne ends up playing a substantial amount of late-game snaps.
