Thursday Night Football
Las Vegas @ Denver
Team Totals: Broncos 26, Raiders 16.5
This is a worrisome spot for Geno Smith and a mouthwatering one for Denver’s D/ST with Raiders LT Kolton Miller (ankle) still not practicing on the road against a Broncos defense that leads the league in sacks (40) — by a twelve-sack margin — and ranks third in pressure rate (28%). Smith still leads the NFL in interceptions (11). … Ashton Jeanty is having a fine rookie year considering the circumstances. He’s No. 3 among running backs in missed tackles forced (46) and has 17 or more touches in five of his last six games, showing an ability to competently handle large workloads. Last week, Jeanty played a year-high 91% of the Raiders’ offensive snaps. But he has very few factors working in his favor here with Vegas installed as a 9.5-point road dog against a Broncos defense surrendering the NFL’s 11th-fewest fantasy running back points. Jeanty is an almost entirely volume-driven RB2 bet.
