In last year’s two meetings with Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo’s defense, Carr managed lowly QB28 and QB26 outcomes on 43-of-68 passing for 420 yards (6.18 YPA), a 2:4 TD-to-INT ratio, and five sacks taken. Carr is just a two-quarterback-league starter here. … His season going precisely as predicted at Establish The Run before the year, Josh Jacobs crushed his Week 1 matchup against Carolina and has struggled to maintain RB2 value ever since. On paper, Jacobs’ Week 5 draw looks favorable after enemy running backs trampled the Chiefs for a 95/489/1 (5.15 YPC) rushing line in the season’s opening month.
