Baltimore @ Pittsburgh
Team Totals: Ravens 21, Steelers 17
Comfortably settling into first-year OC Todd Monken’s offense amid supporting-cast depletion, Lamar Jackson enters Week 5 with consecutive fantasy scores of QB9 (@ CIN), QB2 (vs. IND), and QB3 (@ CLE). As LT Ronnie Stanley (knee), WR Rashod Bateman (hamstring), and WR Odell Beckham (ankle) all look on track to return here, Jackson confidently belongs in fantasy lineups as an upside QB1. It can’t hurt that Pittsburgh is allowing the NFL’s sixth-most yards per pass attempt (7.1) and fourth-most passing TDs per game (2.0). … Gus Edwards operated as Baltimore’s lead back in Week 4’s win over the Browns but ran in place on 17 touches. Melvin Gordon (19% snaps, four touches) and Justice Hill (12%, three) were the Ravens’ breather RBs. This week, exciting if diminutive UDFA rookie Keaton Mitchell (5-foot-8/179) is eligible to make his NFL debut. I’m riding with Edwards as an RB2/flex option against the Steelers, who’ve given up the league’s ninth-most fantasy running back points, including 4.9 yards per carry to the position.
Injuries have rendered Baltimore’s pass-catcher corps a mess; the constants are Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers. Over his last four regular-season games, Andrews has parlayed 27 targets into 23 catches (85%) for 260 yards (9.6 YPT) and three TDs. Andrews clipped the Steelers for 100 yards on nine targets last Week 17.
