Stroud’s three highest scores of the season came in predictable spots against the Ravens (short an abundance of starters on defense), 49ers (short an abundance of starters on defense), and last week against the Cardinals (short an abundance of starters on defense); he’s otherwise averaged 11.5 points in nine surrounding starts. The team’s lowly 18.5-point team total suggests finding another starter. … I’m expecting Houston to deploy a two-headed committee between Woody Marks and Jawhar Jordan — even with Marks inactive last week, Nick Chubb recorded single-digit touches for the sixth consecutive game — with Marks boasting the higher floor (as an RB4) between the two for his 19 > 17 > 20 > 28 touches before injury. Having said that, Jordan’s 100 yards rushing and, in Week 16, five catches are accomplishments that Marks has not achieved at any point this year. Neither is in pole position to hit their ceiling as long as they’re splitting work.
