Monday Night Football
Houston @ Dallas
Team Totals: Texans 24.5, Cowboys 17.5
Even in averaging 8.6 yards-to-go on third down (31st) due to OC Bobby Slowik’s ignorant early-down play-calling, Houston’s offense is unscathed in this matchup for Dallas’ poor secondary, permitting a league-high 8.4 yards per attempt in Micah Parsons’ five starts. With Nico Collins (hamstring) expected to return, note that C.J. Stroud completed 68.9% of his passes for 7.8 YPA and multiple 300-yard performances through Week 5 before losing Nico and struggling across the board for a 55.9% completion rate, 6.4 YPA, and zero 300-yard or QB1 games. … Fire up Joe Mixon as a no-brainer RB1 for his 24 touches and top-10 finishes in five of six full starts. Saquon Barkley (15/78/0 from scrimmage) didn’t get there in the Cowboys’ most recent loss. Still, Jalen Hurts (7/56/2 rushing) did so as Philly’s de facto “RB1”, becoming the fourth consecutive runner to score 17.6 fantasy points around Dallas’ Week 7 bye.
