Houston @ L.A. Rams

Team Totals: Rams 23, Texans 20

Texans-Rams profiles as a low-scoring, fantasy-unfriendly affair. Houston’s offensive line remains its biggest team weakness, while Los Angeles’ defensive front is fully loaded headlined by DPOY candidate Jared Verse. This is C.J. Stroud’s first game in Texans rookie OC Nick Caley’s offense, and I expect it to be a struggle. … Creating between-the-tackles push will be another tall task for the Texans’ offensive front five, which is trotting out second-round rookie LT Aireontae Ersery, fifth-team journeyman LG Laken Tomlinson, April waiver claim C Jake Andrews, and Vikings reject RG Ed Ingram as starters. Broken-down Nick Chubb feels like a short-touchdown-or-bust RB3/flex gamble. I expect versatile rookie Woody Marks to emerge as the Texans’ primary running back within a few weeks.
