In last week’s upset of the Eagles, Washington executed its preferred team formula to eke out 2020 wins, relying on its ferocious defensive front to pummel Carson Wentz for eight sacks among 15 QB hits and amassing a 36-to-31 run-to-pass ratio that limited fledgling Dwayne Haskins’ impact on the game. Haskins’ 31 attempts ranked 23rd among Week 1 signal callers, and he rushed for fewer than 20 yards for the sixth time in eight career starts. Regardless of opponent, Haskins will struggle to maintain reliable two-QB-league value on such fantasy-unfriendly usage. … Even after Antonio Gibson (20) was out-snapped by J.D. McKissic (29) and Peyton Barber (29) against the Eagles, I’m buying Gibson from a forward-looking standpoint.
