Passing Game Outlook
The QB14 and QB13 in points per game since 2023, there’s some hope Patrick Mahomes translates his best-in-the-world talent into usable production after the team drafted 317-pound LT Josh Simmons in the first round to resolve last year’s rotating cast. The concern is the veteran’s ADP (52.7) for a pocket passer, forcing Mahomes to rival the league’s (eventual) highest touchdown rate to return his fifth-round cost. Unless he were to slide, I typically draft the gaggle of wide receivers (or George Kittle) in his range, understanding they’re harder to replace in the later rounds.
