Large-Field GPP Breakdown: The RSM Classic

The final event of the fall season is upon us, and I may or may not be happy with that, considering how this fall season has gone. At the very least, I can hold my head high knowing that I’ve won the contributor challenge for the second year in a row. I’ll make it a three-peat next year without a doubt, even if my specialty is large-field tournaments. It’s been a tough fall season, like I said, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do a final push here to win some money. I know I’m going to miss Golf DFS for a month and a half, so I’ll cherish this moment for sure.

Butterfield Bermuda – Recap

Well, I actually didn’t get to play the lottery last week, because I missed registering for it. Instead, I tried my hand at the $555 and got totally wiped out. I’m going to chalk this up to my not normally playing these high-dollar tournaments, where I’m way less experienced in managing my portfolio appropriately. For example, I had way too much exposure to my flag plant, Cameron Champ, to the tune of 50% of my set. That’s just not responsible for a guy who is so volatile, and honestly not needed. If I’m to play high-dollar stuff, I need to be a little bit more tactful in my exposures to certain players, even if I think they are good plays.

In terms of the lotto, I unfortunately wasn’t in it, so I don’t have a view of the winning lineup! That being said, if you are in Discord, I’m sure THE Kyle has all of that information; just bring your own magnifying glass. Let’s move on to the RSM Classic. 

RSM Classic – Preview

Let’s head over to the RSM Classic, where we will return to having shot tracker available to us for some actual sweats. I’m going to blame my performance over the last two weeks on this, even though it obviously has no impact. There’s just something about sweating golf on shot tracker that makes it better. Anyways, we return stateside to Georgia for the RSM, a long-standing event that is one of the few Tour events that will feature two courses for the tournament.
