We can be looser with the WR spots in our lineups, showing profit with lower-owned plays (vs. RBs) and cheaper salaries (vs. RBs). You can read more about that in this Winning Milly Maker Trends article.

Still, volume is what we’re looking for – even at the cheap end.

Each week, I’ll discuss my favorite main slate wideouts at $5000 or cheaper on DraftKings and $5500 or cheaper on FanDuel who we project for 5+ targets.

Note that this is not a full look at all cheap WR options. Be sure to consult our Projections, Top Plays (released Friday night) and Silva’s Matchups for more context on the position as a whole.

DRAFTKINGS BELOW $5000
1. Robby Anderson, CAR vs. ATL, $4700 DK, $5700 FD
Robby has seen 11, 7, 11, 9 targets in his last four games. That’s an outrageously high number for someone at these prices. However, Anderson has also been arguably the worst WR in the NFL this season. In fact, his yards per route run of 0.79 is the worst in the NFL over the last five seasons — by a wide margin. There’s some risk the Panthers reduce his role, but he’s on a $29.5M contract and they don’t have much behind him. With this volume and a matchup against a Falcons defense ranked 30th in our DvP vs. WRs, there’s still upside here.
Projected targets: 7.9

2. Jerry Jeudy, DEN vs. WAS, $4900 DK, $6000 FD
Jeudy has been out since hurting his ankle Week 1. So there’s some risk here that he’s eased in or not at 100%. But before the season, Jeudy was one of my favorite breakout prospects and he went 6-72-0 on just 31 snaps Week 1 before going down. He returns to an ideal matchup at home against a WFT pass funnel ranked 29th in passer rating allowed.
Projected targets: 6.8
