Black Friday Sale is LIVE!

The Week 15 waiver wire is relatively deep, particularly at RB, where injuries have opened up multiple spot-start opportunities for players like Ty Chandler, Antonio Gibson, and Zamir White. As we begin the fantasy playoffs, it’s critical to nail the best adds of the week to improve your starting lineup while blocking your opponents. This week’s Waiver Wire Analysis has you covered.

Before we dive in, I wanted to provide a quick strategy note relating to FAAB recommendations. At this point of the fantasy season, FAAB recommendations need to be highly specific to your individual leagues, making it difficult to provide broad guidance. For instance, you should be aware of how much FAAB your opponents have left, whether or not your league allows eliminated teams to make waiver claims, whether your league allows $0 bids, whether your opponent is desperate for a spot starter and at what position, and more. Thus, more than ever, you should customize your FAAB bids based on your team and league circumstances, rather than blindly following the recommendations I have put forth in the article. As a reminder, I am available in the ETR Discord weekly for “office hours” where I can answer league-specific questions.

Top 10 Home-League Waiver Targets

Zay Jones

Rostership: 29% Yahoo, 27% ESPN

FAAB Recommendation: 15-30%

In a two-game sample without Christian Kirk, Zay Jones is averaging a 25% target share and 42% Air Yards share. The suddenly condensed Jaguars target tree should eventually lead to big fantasy days for Jones, who had four games of over 22 PPR points in 2022 as Jacksonville’s WR2. The strong usage and history of spike-week production make Jones my preferred WR claim in leagues where he’s still available. I expect low-end WR3 production down the home stretch of the fantasy season.

Ty Chandler

Rostership: 22% Yahoo, 24% ESPN

FAAB Recommendation: 15-30%

Alexander Mattison left Sunday’s game with an ankle sprain, making his Week 15 availability questionable at best. In his absence, Ty Chandler stepped up to play the vast majority of snaps (40), with kick return specialist Kene Nwangwu playing just three. In a Saturday matchup against the Bengals, Chandler should project for a near-workhorse role if Mattison misses, albeit in a poor offensive environment that has failed to produce many RB fantasy points this season. Regardless, fantasy managers are likely to get a few weeks of low-end RB2 production out of Chandler, which makes him the top waiver claim this week at RB.
