For most of the year, I ground my ownership projections against Circa’s main tournament, but once we get to a point where there are only a few entries left in Circa, I do a broader ownership projection. Given that, I will expand on ownership talk for several teams in their individual game write-ups.

Below, I’ll discuss multiple games, listed from highest projected ownership to least for teams with at least 1% projected ownership. I’ll go through the full slate first, before breaking down the holiday slate separately.

Motivation plays a big role in Week 18, so be sure to check out Anthony Amico’s motivation article for this slate.

Jaguars vs. Titans

Spread: Jaguars -12.5

Total: 47.5

Ownership: 38%

Live entries that still have the Jaguars available saved them for this spot, so expect at least 80% of entries that still have Jacksonville to use them. In many tournaments, all of the entries that still have the Jaguars are going to use them this week.

As Amico points out, Jacksonville has maximum motivation, as the AFC South is still undecided, and they can clinch it with a win.

The Titans have been one of the worst teams in the league all season, and there is no obvious path to victory here for Tennessee, which means that for the Jaguars to lose, you’re going to need an outlier type of outcome.

Unless you have one of the other large favorites on this slate that you’d get at very low ownership, I don’t have any issue playing the Jaguars here, even though they will see the most ownership on the slate.
