Thursday Night Football
Seattle @ Denver
Team Totals: Seahawks 21.5, Broncos 18.5
Sporting one of Week 6’s three lowest totals, Seahawks-Broncos is a game to break ties against in fantasy lineup decisions. … Playing games start to finish for the past three weeks, Sam Darnold has struggled mightily. He is fantasy’s QB22 during that span and ranks 29th among 30 qualifiers in QBR. Darnold has also taken eight sacks on only 59 dropbacks over the past two games. The Broncos will miss top CB Patrick Surtain II (ankle) and likely SS Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) here, but I would rather tee up Denver’s D/ST than Darnold straight up based on his recent play. … The Broncos are struggling in run defense, having yielded a combined 123/555/4 (4.51 YPC) rushing line to enemy backs. Entering Week 6 with touch counts of 24 and 21 over the past two weeks, Emanuel Wilson will get one more game as Seattle’s clear feature runner with Zach Charbonnet (knee/PUP) close to returning. Jadarian Price (chest) can come off I.R. in Week 8. George Holani has been a nightmare as Seattle’s fill-in No. 2 back, averaging just 3.0 yards per carry and losing an end-zone fumble last week that San Francisco recovered for a touchdown. Wilson is a volume-based RB2.
