Eagles Passing Game
Carson Wentz completed his second 16-game season in four years, only to bow out of last January’s playoff loss with a first-quarter concussion. The early exit furthered Wentz’s injury-prone label. The Eagles conceded concern by controversially drafting Jalen Hurts in 2020’s second round. Over the past three seasons, Wentz banked per-game fantasy finishes of QB3, QB13, and QB13 as an ultra-aggressive passer with dual-threat traits. Wentz showed he could play at an MVP level in 2017 and carry a deficient team in 2019. The Eagles have ranked top eight in offensive plays all four years under Doug Pederson, including three top-three finishes. They’ve also ranked top 13 in pass attempts in all four, including three top-eight results. Wentz’s dicey durability lowers his floor, but his fantasy ceiling is top-five QB1 high.
