Thursday Night Football
Miami @ Cincinnati
Team Totals: Bengals 25.5, Dolphins 22
Nursing back and ankle injuries on a short-week road trip, Tua Tagovailoa visits Cincinnati with fantasy finishes of QB22 (Patriots), QB2 (Ravens), and QB24 (Bills) under his Weeks 1-3 belt set to face a Bengals defense yielding the league’s fourth-fewest quarterback points. I’m approaching Tua as a mid-range QB2 play here. … Although Raheem Mostert out-snapped him 24 to 19 and ran five more pass routes in last week’s victory, Chase Edmonds hit paydirt twice on the ground against Buffalo despite touching the ball only seven times. It does help that stud Bengals DT D.J. Reader (knee) almost certainly won’t play. Yet the Dolphins’ to-date rushing volume has barely existed, while Cincinnati has limited enemy running backs to bottom-10 outcomes in fantasy points. Both Mostert and Edmonds are shaky flex options.
