- Weekly floors are irrelevant, as there is no need to be worried about advance rates or season-long points.
- Focus on drafting elite upside at each position and consider where in the draft that can/cannot be done for each position.
- Elite QBs and TEs should get drafted sooner, as they provide unique upside others at their position can’t match and you can reasonably draft just one QB/TE and be done.
- Consider using more extreme strategies, as the downside of bad weeks doesn’t hurt as much (i.e., zero RBs in the first 10 rounds and then eight straight, or three to start but then zero more).
- The more bye weeks stacked, the better — it is +EV to tank a week or two with byes to strengthen your other weeks.
- The more your players play against each other, the better. The easiest way to accomplish this is by targeting a specific division or two and prioritizing those teams.
- Players that start the year injured, suspended, or with less playing time, such as rookies, are less valuable than the traditional playoff-style best ball where peaking at the end of the season is most important.
