Indianapolis @ Atlanta

Team Totals: Falcons 24, Colts 21.5

Fantasy’s overall QB12 since Indianapolis’ Week 11 bye, Gardner Minshew warrants locked-in two-QB and Superflex-starter treatment in Sunday’s visit to Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz dome. Minshew’s outlook would take an obvious hit, however, on the off chance Michael Pittman (questionable, shoulder) sits. … The Falcons have played stout run defense all year — holding enemy backs to 3.7 yards per carry and zero (!) rushing TDs through 14 games — but Jonathan Taylor’s workload projection looks sky high. Zack Moss (forearm, questionable) seems unlikely to play after missing practice all week, while Taylor was a full participant each day and didn’t even appear on Friday’s final injury report. His legs fresh after sitting the last three weeks, Taylor is an eruption candidate here. He has five TDs over his last five appearances.

A.J. Terrell’s possible shadow coverage worries me less for Pittman than his health. Pittman passed concussion protocol but was downgraded to limited practice on Friday due to a shoulder injury he sustained on the same play. I’m treating Pittman as a boom-bust WR2/3 at Atlanta.
