I hope Week 1 was able to scratch your college football itch. If five days in a row of games didn’t, I’m not sure what else to tell you. We had our share of blowouts and nail-biters. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Week 2 is usually a letdown with regard to marquee matchups. It does give us one thing that Week 1 didn’t: actual data we can use. With the transfer portal and so much roster shake-up, it’s increasingly difficult to figure out how rotations and snaps are going to pan out as teams open the season.
I love Week 2 because you get so much overreaction to the one-game sample size, and there is an immense amount of leverage to gain on the field. What a time to be alive.
Week 1 Recap
- If you’re familiar with the article from last year, I use this section to break down my lineups if they took down tournaments. Luckily, I was able to do that in Week 1. The lineup below won the $4 20-max, got second in the $44, and gave me a pretty good sweat in the flagship, finishing ninth.
- This lineup tells you what a low-scoring slate the Week 1 DraftKings main was. Only four players put up more than 30 DK points. You also had some massive chalk busts with Elijah Sarratt (7.4 DK Points) and Nolan Ray (5.9 DK points).
