Chicago @ Washington
Team Totals: Bears 23.5, Commanders 20
The Bears come off Week 7’s bye having scored five-plus offensive touchdowns in back-to-back games for the first time in franchise history since 1956. Fantasy’s QB6 in Weeks 3-6, Caleb Williams was especially efficient in his last two appearances, carving up Carolina and Jacksonville for a combined 43-of-58 passing (74%), 530 yards (9.1 YPA), a 6:1 TD-to-INT ratio, and 9/90/0 rushing. Williams is a high-floor, high-ceiling QB1 starter against a Washington defense yielding the NFL’s sixth-highest completion rate (70.2%), seventh-most yards per pass attempt (7.8), and third-highest passer rating (107.4). … Almost quietly, the hottest member of Chicago’s offense has been D’Andre Swift, who parlayed an average of 22.3 touches into 134.7 yards and a touchdown per game in Weeks 4-6. The Commanders recently lost two-time Pro Bowl DT Jonathan Allen (torn pec) for the season. … The Bears stayed committed to a 1-2 punch of Swift and Roschon Johnson in their last three games, eliminating Khalil Herbert from the rotation. Johnson averaged 8.0 touches in that span.
