Washington @ Seattle
Team Totals: Seahawks 25.5, Commanders 19.5
Sam Howell has earned every-week starter treatment as fantasy’s overall QB6, quietly boosting his floor with the NFL’s 11th-most rushing yards (157) among quarterbacks. Seattle has allowed the fifth-most QB rushing yards (157), while I’m betting the over on this game’s total in what I believe could be a sneaky track-meet game with the Seahawks set up for success on the other side. … With Chris Rodriguez having suddenly vanished from Washington’s offense, Brian Robinson is coming off an 18-carry effort — his most since Week 2 — on a 56% snap rate, Robinson’s highest since Week 1. Robinson maintains a high level of touchdown dependency without a significant pass-game role, so it helps that Seattle has yielded the NFL’s fourth-most rushing TDs to running backs. Robinson is a passable RB2/flex starter here. … Antonio Gibson handled a season-high 11 touches in Week 9’s win over New England, but his role didn’t change. He continues to log around 50% of Washington’s weekly offensive snaps but is never proactively fed.
Howell’s 2023 target distribution: Terry McLaurin 71; Jahan Dotson 57; Logan Thomas 45; Curtis Samuel 43; Gibson 29; Robinson 18. … Clearly Howell’s go-to pass catcher all season, McLaurin has commanded at least eight targets in five of Washington’s last six games. He has yet to turn in a true eruption game on the year but should have one coming based on that volume.
