The Raiders enter Week 15 with a microscopic team total and a quarterback making his second NFL start since Week 13 of the 2023 season on the road against one of the league’s very best defenses. The Eagles have intimate knowledge of Kenny Pickett’s strengths and weaknesses after he spent 2024 in their organization. In last week’s loss to the Broncos, the Raiders barely had the ball, losing the time-of-possession battle 40 to 20. I’m excitedly teeing up Philly’s D/ST and crossing my fingers if I feel I have to start Ashton Jeanty in an extremely adverse offensive environment. The ongoing absence of Eagles DT Jalen Carter (shoulders) gives Jeanty some room for optimism. … Brock Bowers is the one fantasy-relevant Raider I believe could benefit from Pickett’s insertion. At the very least, Pickett is an accurate short-area distributor capable of giving intended targets run-after-catch chances. Pickett has completed a respectable 62.5% of his career throws. Geno Smith (shoulder, back) was taking so many hits that he’d begun giving up on plays before they were over.
