Survivor is a brutal game that comes with more pressure every week your entry remains alive. Week 6 features a very strong option that will be highly owned, as well as an abnormally strong leverage play to consider. We’ll dive into several matchups, future insertion points, and more in this week’s survivor pool column. Let’s discuss.
Rams vs. Cardinals

If Myles Garrett were active for this matchup, this would be one of the few games every year I would completely ignore ownership numbers for.
Even without Garrett, this is still a spot for the Rams, coming off a loss at 2-3, where, if they lose to Arizona, I can live with the decision. I will definitely play the Rams in some of my entries.
Future value-wise, this looks like the best matchup for Los Angeles, as they’ll have the combination of a home game, with trench advantage, against a very volatile quarterback, Jacoby Brissett, with Matthew Stafford in a position to shred Arizona’s bottom-tier defense with his full assortment of weapons. L.A. will be down its left tackle, Alaric Jackson, who is suspended for this matchup, but the Cardinals do not have a high-end edge group to truly exploit that void.
Generally speaking, I think the Rams end up winning all of the games listed below as long as their core is healthy, as they simply out-talent each of those options.
Barring injuries, Los Angeles will have significant trench advantages against the Chargers (even if they get their tackles back for this one), Washington, and again at Arizona. I mention this because I, ideally, want to play the Rams in a situation where their pass rush could completely derail that specific contest.
If I had one entry, I’d likely play the Rams this week.
If you’re in Circa or a similar tournament with a Thanksgiving slate, you should consider holding the Rams for their home matchup against Green Bay, where Los Angeles could have a major trench advantage.
