We’re off to a wild start for the week with some big players on the injury report today for a seven-game slate. Let’s get to it.
Top Questionable Tags
Russell Westbrook isn’t on the injury report, but we’re treating him as questionable today. Coach Scott Brooks said that Westbrook didn’t have a cap on him on Sunday, so he has a pretty good shot to play in a revenge game against the Rockets. If he doesn’t go, Raul Neto would likely get the start while Troy Brown would likely be behind him. Of course, Bradley Beal would be in a huge spot sans Westy.
Joel Embiid (back) getting the Q tag against the Jazz is probably the big one here. It’s not a back-to-back set, but it’s in altitude and that could be a factor. If he can’t go, Tony Bradley would likely get the start in a revenge game with Dwight Howard behind him. Plus, the 76ers are probably going to want to go zone a little more against the drive-happy Jazz, which could result in more run for Matisse Thybulle. Tobias Harris would be a really strong play without Embiid.
