Thursday Night Football
Miami @ Jacksonville
Team Totals: Jaguars 25, Dolphins 22.5
After opening 2020 with consecutive brutal matchups (NE, BUF), Ryan Fitzpatrick encounters his softest to-date draw versus a Jaguars defense that coughed up 363 passing yards to Philip Rivers in Week 1 and Week 2’s QB7 score to Ryan Tannehill, who hung four touchdowns and 10.0 yards per attempt on DC Todd Wash’s unit. As neither Miami nor Jacksonville can rush the passer, this game offers bad-team shootout possibilities that make Fitzpatrick a sneaky-upside two-QB-league start. Gardner Minshew will attract far more ownership on one-game DFS slates, making Fitzpatrick an excellent tournament play there. … Myles Gaskin kept Miami’s clear lead-back job in Week 2’s close loss to Buffalo, pacing the committee in snaps (65%), touches (13), and targets (7) with Matt Breida (21%, 8, 2) changing the pace.
