Las Vegas chose TCU WR Jack Bech in the second round, further bulking up their skill positions after taking Ashton Jeanty at No. 6 overall. The Raiders are lacking at the WR position and Bech has a chance to contribute right away. Let’s dig into what this pick means for fantasy purposes.
JACK BECH
- Bech was a WR/TE hybrid as a freshman at LSU and led the Tigers with 43 receptions despite competing for targets with Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., and Kayshon Boutte. His production dropped off as a sophomore as others (the aforementioned trio) ascended into relevance before transferring to TCU for his final two college seasons. He only played eight games as a junior and was largely unproductive while battling injury, but he broke out as a senior with 62 catches for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns. Dane Brugler compared Bech to Puka Nacua in his “The Beast” draft guide, and he highlighted the smoothness in his games and his sure-handedness. He had mediocre athletic testing numbers but tracks the ball in the air at a high level and is capable of adjusting his body to catch the ball (Brugler noted he had one drop on 91 targets last year).
