Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks

Team Totals:

Injury Report: Zach LaVine (Q, protocols), Alex Caruso (Q, concussion), George Hill (Q, abdomen)

Bulls projected starters: Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White, DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Williams, Nikola Vucevic

Bucks projected starters: Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez

Donovan quotes: Said DeMar and LaVine were able to play the right way, said the Bucks were good at passing out of the Giannis doubles, said they did have some better spacing in Game 4, said the rotations were a mess because of Alex Caruso going down, said he had to up the minutes for Vooch, LaVine, and DeMar because of the Caruso injury, said Ayo was playing well and he earned an opportunity.

Budenholzer quotes: Said Giannis is just playing the right way and getting the ball in his hands more is good for them, said Grayson Allen has been great and the boos have helped (mentioned he has some off-the-bounce stuff), said the defense being great has really helped their offense.

Stats and Notes:

*The headline here is obviously the injuries to the Bulls’ backcourt. It sounds like Alex Caruso is going to miss, which is a huge deal. The Bulls’ defense gets wrecked in the non-Caruso minutes, and Jrue should dominate the Ayo matchup. Plus, the Bucks will be loading up on DeMar in a big way.

*The Bucks have completely taken away the Bulls’ offense. The Bulls have just an 86.1 halfcourt O rating and a 95.4 overall. They’re not getting anything on the glass, and they’re not getting anything in transition with bottom-two volume and bottom-three efficiency. This seems quite bad.
