Seahawks-Falcons has shootout written all over it, especially with Seattle giving off indications it may finally #LetRussCook this year. “Let’s treat every quarter like the fourth quarter,” stated the Seahawks’ $140 million quarterback in mid-August. “We want (Russell Wilson) to impact the game early,” OC Brian Schottenheimer added later in the month. “We want to start faster.” Sunday’s opener presents a prime opportunity to Let Russ Rip; Atlanta’s offense is talented enough to have its way with Seattle’s pass rush-bereft defense, while Dan Quinn’s team has ranked bottom ten in points allowed in three of the last four seasons and in the bottom half in pass-defense DVOA in each of Quinn’s five years as coach.
