Once the season starts, I’ll be using my standard format where a list of every player with a baseline bid recommendation will begin every column. Quarterbacks
Note: The nickname “Danny Dimes” was minted during the preseason, which I mention because overreacting to a few preseason quarterback box scores or highlights is not in anyone’s best interest.
Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins: Having just watched every snap of Tua’s preseason moments ago, the only relevant takeaway I had is that Miami was pretty conservative with him and he might check down more than many expect this season. You probably don’t want to play Tua against the Patriots on opening day in most scenarios, but his Week 2 matchup vs Buffalo and his Week 3 trip to Las Vegas both come with some interesting upside. In truth, Tua should not be available in the majority of season-long leagues as he currently is.
