Passing Game Outlook
Indy’s EPA/play through Week 8 (.231) was the best of any offense since 2018 (Patrick Mahomes‘ Chiefs), elevating a healthy Daniel Jones to 8.5 yards per attempt (third). The wheels came off with six turnovers over his next four starts before suffering a torn Achilles in Week 14. Albeit finishing with career-high marks in his first year with Shane Steichen, Dimes’ NFL résumé suggests he won’t catch fire (to that extent) again, projecting as a QB2 for Superflex leagues (or, in 1-QB formats, a streamer).
Brought back on a four-year, $116 million deal, the elephant in the room is Alec Pierce’s offseason ankle surgery, which held him out of practice all summer. With an unclear recovery and return, he’s settled at 117 in our rankings — a full three rounds behind ADP. If truly healthy by Week 1, note that Pierce saw a team-high 24% target share when sharing the field with Jones.
