Denver @ Philadelphia
Team Totals: Eagles 23.5, Broncos 20
The Broncos visit Philly at a major rest disadvantage flying to the East Coast for a 1:00 p.m. ET game following last Monday night’s win over Cincinnati. I’m loving the Eagles’ D/ST and fading Bo Nix in a brutal matchup for Denver’s offense; Philly DC Vic Fangio’s defense has yielded the league’s lowest completion rate (56.9%), eighth-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.3), and seventh-lowest passer rating (78.7). On the season, Nix is PFF’s No. 43-graded QB among 51 qualifiers. … The Broncos had the luxury of expanding their backfield from a one- to two-man ordeal in Week 4’s 28-3 trouncing of the Bengals; rookie RJ Harvey set career highs in touches (18) and playing time (41%) on MNF. Yet Broncos 1A back J.K. Dobbins stayed as effective as ever and is averaging a blistering 6.3 yards per carry on 41 attempts over the past three weeks. I suspect we’ll see more Dobbins and less Harvey in this particular matchup. The Eagles have allowed the NFL’s eighth-fewest fantasy RB points.
