Detroit @ Cincinnati
Team Totals: Lions 30, Bengals 19.5
This is a go-off spot for the Lions’ offense with Week 5’s highest team total facing a Bengals team on a short week after last Monday’s blowout loss to Denver. Cincy turned in a lifeless MNF performance, leading many observers to opine that Zac Taylor’s team “quit.” … Expect a clean pocket for Jared Goff; Detroit hasn’t allowed a sack since Week 1, while Cincinnati has the league’s fourth-lowest pressure rate (16%). … Only the Ravens and Bears have given up more fantasy RB points than the Bengals. Jahmyr Gibbs is always a top-three play, but David Montgomery’s outlook is especially elevated by this particular draw. The Lions should be able to impose their will on the ground, setting up close-in scoring chances. Montgomery has five carries inside the opposing 5-yard line, fourth most in the NFL.
