Arizona @ Houston

Team Totals: Texans 26, Cardinals 16.5

Losers of 10 of their last 11 and five straight, the Cardinals are relevant in fantasy almost solely because they let Jacoby Brissett throw the ball extremely voluminously in garbage time. My bet is against their box-score success sustaining on the road against the Texans’ league-best pass defense while missing stud LT Paris Johnson Jr. (MCL). Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter should tee off on cement-footed Brissett. Last week, Houston held Patrick Mahomes to career lows in passer rating (19.8) and completion rate (42%). … Emari Demercado appears set to return from his high ankle sprain, potentially turning the Cardinals’ backfield into a repulsive three-man RBBC also involving Bam Knight and Michael Carter. … Projected target volume sans Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) and Greg Dortch (chest, I.R.) keeps Michael Wilson playable as a WR2/3 and Trey McBride as a still-elite TE1, but neither has anything resembling a friendly draw. The Texans have allowed the league’s second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers and the fourth-fewest points to tight ends.
