Team Totals: Seahawks 28, Colts 14.5
With physically unfit 44-year-old grandfather Philip Rivers under center, I don’t believe the Colts have any prayer of generating meaningful offense at Seattle against a defense giving up the NFL’s second-fewest points per game (17.4) while ranking top four in sacks (41) and third in pressure rate (28.6%). The Colts are also missing RT Braden Smith (concussion, neck). It wouldn’t surprise me to see Riley Leonard end up playing more snaps than Rivers. Indianapolis’ game plan seems to be feeding Jonathan Taylor as many touches as he can humanly handle. I’ll be confidently ignoring every member of the Colts’ passing game here.
