The Broncos can certainly dial up heat, blitzing at the NFL’s ninth-most frequent clip (31.6%) and getting pressure at the NFL’s sixth-highest rate (25.2%). Denver has also yielded the league’s second-lowest completion rate (56.4%), sixth-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.3), and third-lowest QB rating (74.2). Mahomes isn’t a fantasy starter this week. … Kenneth Walker III lit the Broncos on fire for 191 yards and two touchdowns in these clubs’ Week 1 date. While it would be irresponsible to expect a full-on repeat, it is true that Denver has continued to show run-funnel tendencies, stymying quarterbacks but yielding a crisp 4.42 yards per carry and the NFL’s 11th-most FF points to running backs. Walker has earned set-it-and-forget-it elite RB1 treatment.
